Melanie Chan

National Vice President of Planning

Melanie Chan is the National Vice President of Planning for the Chinese American Citizens Alliance. She had previously served in various capacities at the local level with the San Francisco Lodge of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance and still remains very much active on the local level. As someone committed to the well being and interests of the Chinese American and AAPI communities, she is able to contribute her skills and experience to support the Chinese American Citizens Alliance mission of civil equality, citizenship and brotherly love.

She also stays busy volunteering at the Rotacare Half Moon Bay clinic providing medical care to the underserved. She has also joined a medical mission to Nepal where the team opened the country’s very first pediatric ICU and providing some much needed medical care and education.

When not volunteering, she works as clinical pharmacist and operations manager at the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
